Adjustable from size 1-6 (preset to 3), it uses the same mounting hole pattern as the Norton 8501 and 8301 models-making it a perfect replacement for existing installations. The Dynasty 8500 Series Door Closer screw hole spacing is 12 inches center to center for the horizontal mounting holes and 3/4 inch center to center for the vertical screw holes. Direct replacement for Norton 8301 and 8501 door closers.

One valve adjusts the closing speed and the other valve is used to adjust the latching speed. The allen wrench for adjusting the door closer is included.
